Programmer/Analyst (Jan 2005-present)
Managed the installation of MDAnalyze, a clinical outcomes and multimedia database developed by Medtamic Pty. Ltd. Analyzed the process of extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from multiple systems into MDAnalyze. Acted as liaison between Department of Neurological Surgery and Medtamic. Created forms using TeleForm® to scan data into an MS-Excel/Access file, and used XML to import data into MDAnalyze. Monitored and adhered to IRB protocol. Provided user and technical support for all areas of computing within the department. Designed and developed website (using SHTML, HTML, and CSS) and newsletter (using Quark Xpress 6.5) for department to increase funding for neurological research. Developed an MS-Access relational database to track donations and its' respective donors.

Built a database to store information and track incoming and outgoing inventory using FileMaker Pro. Day-to-day activities include using scripts to write stored procedures for report generation, and administered and validated all incoming data. Duties also include collecting information from database users; recognizing problems and determining needs of users; determining overall goal and feasibility of project; planning the development of necessary tables, forms, and reports; implementing these plans; and testing and installing new database files. Coordinated all affiliates' magazine direct mail orders including tracking, processing, and converting raw data from multiple different formats into usable FileMaker Pro format.
